Umm, 'morning. What a lovely day today

It's warm outside, for the first time this year!

Well -it was really sunny yesterday (around 9°C), but today it's all grey and cold again.
I swear it - we have 9 months winter up here. -__-

Well, maybe not 9, but 7 at least...

The sunny days were on Thursday and Friday, when I did have to work. Just in time for the weekend it got cold and gray again. Ugh.

Monday... sigh... beneath my balcony people are busy with a mini-caterpillar digging a deep hole in the ground. Guess it got to do with wanting to fix something on the main water pipeline to my house. They at least notified me of that, telling me that tomorrow morning, 8:00 am, I won't have water anymore until 1 p.m.
Awesome - that's exactly the time when I'm usually in the shower with shampoo in my hair *sigh*

Well, at least it's a short week!

Wow - that sounds great.

At least you know of it before. When they are doing something wiht our water system here I don't recognize before the hot water is black all of a sudden.

Yeah, they did give me a warning - gotta be grateful for the small blessings or something

\What sucks even more is running out of water with a shampoo all over your body

I think I can top this: sitting in the destist chair, getitng a new filling (driller and all that jazz) when suddenly the guys from the street construction work outside *accidentially* hit the main electric line for the building with one of their machines. Lights out, Ladies and Gentlemen. ( )

I guess I got out of that lucky as the inner part of the tooth filling had been UV-lighted just long enough to make it just hard enough to be able to go with that 'til the next day.

But yeah: with the 'every day' life already being as tightly knitted as it is every disruption of the usual, no matter how small, is testing your patience.

Geee... I'm tired! Turned out the water wasn't shut off at 8, but at 7:30 already. Luckily they announced it just in time for me to notice. But it still meant I had to get up an hour before my time

Just came backin from the vet. I guess with old cats it's the same as with old people - as the years go on the illnesses get weirder and come in shorter steps.

Now how do we manage to hold her for 10mins straight twice a day?
