Re: The ground level - in and out
Short life sign here.
Good news: The doctor sent me home for the whole week with just listening to what's left of my voice on the phone - so no need to drive the 30 km in my state.
Bad news: I still feel like crap - a huge pile of crap. Seriously: I'd rather work...

Re: The ground level - in and out
Kiy, well, what I would do is like I said earlier, plenty of Vitamin C, but also paracetamol to take care of the headaches, and pseudo-efedrin or equivalent to handle runny nose and make me sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep.

I really liked the effect of Aspirin compact.

Re: The ground level - in and out
Once, me and wife travelled from Srebia to Nigeria, via Istanbul. As we had to spend 2 nights there, and she was not feeling fine, I went out to bring some food she would like. It was January and it began to snow... Did it top me? Hell no! So I walked for some 10 minutes under the heavy snow, having only a t-shirt and a thin jacket (we were going to Africa, who needs a snow jacket there, you would ask). Later that evening, I felt first symptoms of cold... a bit runny nose, some light fever, so I took Aspirin+ (effervescent tablets of Aspirin with Vitamin C). The next morning, I was like new, not a trace of symptoms anymore.

Re: The ground level - in and out
Morning... kind of
No aspirin for me here... it has bad effects on my stomach. But I'm stocked up with paracetamol for fever and headache, vitamines, honey, some medicine for the night, tons of kleenex... looks like a pharmacy in here
Has to get better one of these days. At least I actually slept last night, yay!

Morning
Yeah, I'm still alive. Still sick at home, but definitely alive. I might even have to leave the house today. Fridge's empty

Welcome back
Eh - tomorrow's Friday already, if my sense of time hasn't left me completely.
