Finally checking in - with a helluva weather outside and after the internet finally started working again.

Hi Elyris - did they close everthing down, including the roads and work? I can imagine that your workplace can't be reached by car anyway right now

The schools and official bui.dings had closed as far as I know, I had to go to work either way (it was pretty crazy though).

And now I'm off to aunty birthday and then the 'christmas party' from work ... yay and yay.

If I have a large stock of food, drinks and firewood, I wouldn't care at all about how bad the weather is even with no electricity, internet etc

For businesses offering certain kind of services, such is the one I work for, it is a natural thing. Customers order more and more as the Christmas approaches, so we generate about 2 to 3 times more monez in December than we do in, say, February.
