Yeah, I admit to right now feeling a bit sorry for myself :/

And hungry, cause the kitchen's kinda out of order until that's fixed.

You can say that again.

I just left my car at the garage, hoping they can fix the window... no kitchen, no car... yay. There are days you just wanna go over fast :oh:

My garage just called... seems my convertible days are over. They want 950!!! EUR for repairing the window. I just don't have that kind of money at the moment, not with the move and all the stuff I need for that ahead  :( :tears:

What the ... ?? :omg: How can this all happen all of a sudden?

Maybe you should try to burn some incense or something - seems like someone sent a curse on your heels. You really got my sympathy.

Kiy, when I was renovating my apartment in July 2013, it cost me approx. EUR 900 to replace 3 windows (2 sets of 3 parts each, and one set 2 parts each). Asking for 950 to repair something is... ugh... a crime... except if your windows are made from titanium frames plated with pure gold, with diamond bearings, and with glass from melted meteorite.

It's not even the window - that's perfectly fine. It's the mechanism (we're talking about a car window here) that sends it up and down, that would have to be replaced. Electronical parts (what the heck was wrong with doing that manually again?) plus of course the work time.

Kinda sitting here, waiting for the next shoe to drop...

Desktop at home?

Well, putting a new card should not cost more than 50 EUR... but yes, it is annoying.

What will matter to them is what sort of mainboard is inside your system... So you will have to take the system to them :(

We're talking about a deskotp PC here. I'm not gonna drag that through the mall... they'll have to live with the system information I can give them.

A Zombie thread? Where is the dumb driver thread? The USA probably has more dumb drivers by ratio than any country in the Universe!

And they all like to converge around "ME".

It just saddens me to learn that people who entertained me when I was a kid have passed away. Even the rich and famous fall victim to that which we all dread but will meet eventually. One such movie of his that cracks me up to no end is titled "RV".

Some things don't work. :omgg:

He made us laugh, which is what he started out to do. Made me laugh real hard. :D :D :D

It's been the news I woke up to this morning... :(
So sad to see such a wonderful and talented comedian and actor go way too early :(

Rest in peace, Robin - you made so many of us laugh, and it always was a good laugh :)

My personal favourite was Peter Pan in "Hook" - I really have to watch that movie again.
