Ugh... back to work...

Yup.

And the bad news: The english homework that I forgot about during the weekend turned out to be much more than I hoped it would be (again), so I have to do the rest tomorrow at work (luckily my co-worker isn't there, but the boss is back).

What kind of English course is it you're doing there anyway? It sure seems a buttload of additional work on top what you've got already.

You know the university I am currently enrolled in (TIHo Hannover) has some mandatory courses - I have to take a certain amount of english and biomath as well as rhetoric. I was at least able to make a deal with them that I could do the courses here if possible.
The course I am taking now is called english for biosciences and our teacher is a dutch woman who can't really speak german and decided to study linguistics after she had started a geology education and right now it's about biochemistry - so people who have problems to explain things ot each other try to talk about things they don't really understand - it's charming.


(And yeah - it's a lot of additional work too.)

Alright - that's so absurd that it's already funny again, at least from an outside perspective
