Hey Kiy
Sounds like my job at the moment. (Though it's piles of bacterial culture plates and not piles of paper.)

Back home too...
One should think that.... well, for me it were like 14 hours today. Some projects just suck!

Re: The ground level - in and out
It's a perfect day for a bbq
A bit hot, maybe, at least here...
I'm back from the bi-annual street festival in my village. Live-music, food, market, you name it - from this evening on until Sunday afternoon. Guess I'm gonna go tomorrow night again.

Morning
Ah, well - it's Fischerfest (a 'festival' at the near fishers village) again ... so my sleep wasn't the best as I had to keep the window closed and the noise was still loud enough to be heard. I went there I think three times during my teen years (because seemingly it is expected that you spent your time doing such things), but frankly I didn't liked it. Too loud, too noisy, way too many people and practically nothing of worth. I don't think this changed much 'til then. Everybody is always looking at me like I am deranged for not liking such things, but I guess that's how it is. I wouldn't mind a nice festivity or a nice market. But this loud, blinking, bad music playing monstrosity where garbage is more or less the only stuff you can buy next to fast food - that's just not my cup of tea (sadly enough there's seemingly nothing in my surrounding I could like).

Re: The ground level - in and out
Morning
Festival: Ah, well, for the music, there are different kinds of course, so that most ot the people find something they like. Last night I stayed away from the "Schlager" and "Volksmusik" as well as from the Techno-Disco and finally settled down with a band that played nice rock music. I hear ya on the noise though... the festival already finished around midnight, but there were people sitting together in the garden, laughing and chatting along until 1:30... and there was no way I'd keep my window closed last night.
