Re: The ground level - in and out
Mmhm, only times things really got messed up was when I wanted to get curls. My hair structure and permanent waves do NOT match together... usually the next thing I need is a pair of scissors to cut off all the destroyed and dry hair.Elyris wrote:Don't say that too loud though - there's always room down

Re: The ground level - in and out
Lil'Bee is havign her surgery right now. I can say I really dislike to be so unable to do anything.
Update: We're back home and she's still in the process of waking up, wearing a babygrow likebandage (which is looking very weird). Quite a long suture on her beklly (nearly the whole length). She's gonna to be VERY pissed when she wakes up.

Morning
The night was OK-ish. Mom said she finally gave up at 1:15am and went to bed (after the cat somehow managed to get rid of like the hald of her bandage - luckly it was possible to get her back in). Now she's occupying my chair and one tired, grumpy cat. At 6am she can finally eat again and from 6pm on we have to give her painkillers (this is gonna be fu-un).

Morning
Hey, so the surgery went alright? That's good news first!
About cats not liking bandages - I can imagine, guess it's just something alien at her body she wants to get rid off. Does she have to wear one of those silly "Cone of shames"?
I don't envy you about having to give her painkillers - her claws probably are still in very good shape...

Re: The ground level - in and out
Finally back home.
Yeah- good news indeed. She's doing OK so far (I would say) - she just really needs to sleep at some point (but I'm sure she will).
No, no cone of shame, luckily.
It actually looks more like this:

But it's open on the back (the upper side) and attached with Velcro fastener (Klettverschluß). Looks weird, must feel even weirder.

If you think this one doesn't look happy you should see Lil'Bees glance.
I'm happy she's apparently well enouhg to be that grumpy though.

Morning
Inspired by a book where at some point a doctor thinks something like " no one who is whining that much will die anytime soon " about an injured patient.

Back home too.
Everyone has my permission to kick my txim the next time I use the words "nice weather" and "I think I might be able to head home early next week" in the same sentence
