Re: The ground level - in and out
Back in.
I somehow had a sore throat since the beginning of the year, but today it was really painful.
*sips tea* Thanks a lot
Also: checking in from the tiny 'backup' netbook, the Bamboo is at the 'garage'.
So I apologize for more typos than usual and a slow response speed (this thing is quite slow).
Update: I changed pc's to the (quite) old laptop (the acer one) - it still has XP, so I don't know what will happen, but at least internet's at the usual speed again (I literally couldn't do a thing with the small one) and the screen a big.

Morning ... or something.
by now I think I can safely say I am quite sick. My throat is sore and swollen in the classical sense. Hurts like hell and makes swallowing a torture.
And I got much too much work to do.

status update:
I'm home. I'm sick. I forced myself to work this morning as an unbelievable amount of stuff was still to do. Fortunately my co-worker helped me out a bit, so I was able to finish at 10am (wored without a pause from 6am on). Been at the doc at 11:30. She said it's a angina and wrote me sick from the whole next week 8antibiotics are also in the game). Then I made a quick stop at the PC repairing place and took it home (although the nice guy didn't came to do anything with it yet, but he said it's no pronlem at all and I can bring it again next week). Now I ma finally sitting of the couch, wrapped in a blanket. This week really could've been better.

Re: The ground level - in and out
I got off the whole next week (so until next friday). That's mainly the usual here if you really got a health issue (and my doctor is a nice lady in her 80's - she knows better than to think one can get fit again just like that).
Thank you.
Thank you.

Hey Kiy
Thanks
(It is indeed. And now I show the classical cold symptoms on top - my sinuses are at war with me ... how it is possible that a body can produce that much slime in such a short time? -_- )
Thanks

Morning ... or something.
I feel like crap. I woke up every hour tonight, as the pain was so strong.

Hey Kiy
You had a mother's day program? (sadly enough the 'program' in my case meant my mother making new tea for me every 10 minutes or so.

Re: The ground level - in and out
Well, driving there, picking her up, then visiting two cemetries (yay :/ ), then to lunch at an Indian restaurant, dropping her at home and then - finally - back home again.
Okay, definitely beats being home with a hurting throat :/

Ah, I see. :/
Well - we never went to the cemetery on mothers day (seems unfitting). We go there of birthdays and Totensonntag, of course.

Re: The ground level - in and out
My mom wanted to bring her mom (who's dead for 25 years now) flowers and then just needed someone with a car to drop the flowers she wants to plant at my dad's grave at the second cemetry. Well, hanging around on cemetries is not my cup of tea, but it's important to her so I just went along with her.

Re: The ground level - in and out
Ah, I see. Quite understandable.
I can say that cemeteries aren't the most quiet and lonely places anyway - especially not on Totensonntag (over half of the time usually goes to waste becasue we are running in some aquaintances)
